The top 5 pregnancy must haves!


Today we’re going to talk about my top 5 pregnancy must haves. Keep in mind these are in no way specific to anyone but they are just my recommendations.

1. Pregnancy Body Pillow

When you’re pregnant your body goes through so many changes, everything starts to become uncomfortable. As your belly grows, sleeping becomes a little tricky, having one of these pillows makes everything sooo much better, trust me. Most of the time you’ll need support somewhere, on your back or in between your legs and the body pillow can be positioned so many ways. Most of them are pretty affordable, here’s a couple i recommend.

2. Stretch Mark Creams and Oils

Yes i know, i know, it’s all about genetics but it can’t hurt right? Haha. Trust me other things happen asides from genetics, my mom never had any stretch marks, not even with three kids. So i totally thought i was going to be saved by genetics, i still used Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Stretch Mark Lotion sporadically but not as often as i should have. I went on all the way until about 37 weeks and then one morning there it was!! a dreaded stretch mark, i was mortified lol. 3. Pregnancy Leggings

These aren’t exactly “must have” but they do feel much more comfortable than regular leggings, especially when your belly starts getting bigger and bigger. Most of the times regular leggings sit under the belly and that can become super uncomfortable even with the stretchiest leggings. So having preggo leggings that cover your whole belly definitely feel soo much comfortable. Besides leggings are so flexible, well at least for me haha, you can always dress them up or down and just with an ever growing belly they are honestly so much easier than anything else.

4. Prenatal Vitamins

Getting a good source of vitamins is crucial when you’re pregnant (always make sure to check with your Dr. first before ingesting anything) that’s because the baby starts basically sucking every vitamin and nutrient out of you in order to grow. It doesn’t help that most pregnant women get a lot of nausea and vomiting early on and that sometimes makes it hard to keep anything down let alone trying to get vitamins from foods. That’s why a good supplement is always recommended.

5. Maternity Belly Button Bands

These belly button bands are usually super cheap and easy to use, they come in handy when you still want to rock your regular jeans that just no longer close lol and while yes the whole hair tie trick works in the button of the jeans. These actually cover that whole area so you don’t have to worry about your whole business being exposed and out in the open. Maternity jeans can be quite expensive so this is a good inexpensive alternative.
